Overview
The goal was to create a brand experience that would resonate with creative agencies and founders looking for premium content with a tropical edge. From a custom-designed logo to a scroll-driven portfolio site, we helped position Black Isle as the creative bridge between Europe and Indonesia.
Black Isle Collective was growing fast, producing stunning tropical visuals for European brands in Bali... but lacked a visual identity and online presence that truly represented the vibe and standard of their work. They needed something bold, minimal, and warm. A brand that would feel just as at home in Canggu as it would on the streets of Amsterdam.

The Challenge
The team had incredible work, but no digital space that showcased it well. Their branding lacked consistency, and their pitch materials felt more like a freelancer deck than a boutique production agency.
We needed to build something that would communicate the quality and scale of their productions, while still feeling rooted, natural, and authentic to the island energy. The design had to balance modern minimalism with a touch of escapism.

The Solution
We designed a strong, minimal visual identity, grounded in bold typography, a custom wordmark, and a monochrome palette inspired by film production. The logo reflects both clarity and craft, and sets the tone for the brand's aesthetic direction.

The website was built to feel cinematic and intentional. We used smooth scroll transitions, subtle grain textures, and immersive fullscreen layouts to highlight the visual content. The structure was kept clean to let the work speak, with enough personality to leave a mark.
